This abstract art piece leaves much to the viewer’s interpretation. The foreground objects might be bodies who have chosen to lie on the beach, tanning in the sun, or perhaps they are lifeless bodies that have been washed up on the beach like beached sea creatures, the result of some unnamed catastrophe. This example of Northwest Coast art has a Native American feel to the images.
