I’ve never visited this trail, but I would like to. This abstract artwork shows a hard-edged, thick branch canopy overhanging a dense forest. The trees and the path have a well-manicured feel that suggests an urban trail, perhaps manicured for city-folk hikers. The uphill climb at the end of the visible trail was a fun perspective to work on. The drawing of the tree trunk volume and “groundedness” was also personally engaging.
