This geometric art image was inspired by the reality of Las Vegas, springing up from its arid desert surrounds. Before Las Vegas and its bright lights there was only the emptiness of the undeveloped desert; the first of the developers may have had a similar mirage-like vision of what that neon oasis was to become.
