This geometric art work was inspired by the thought that the Christian concept of Christ’s supreme sacrifice may have its parallels in other cultures. The notion of human sacrifice has cross-cultural historical underpinnings and this work, created on Easter Sunday, acknowledges the apparent human need to sacrifice as a means of redemption.
