This abstract seascape is another in a series of views from the coast looking seaward. The branch/fronds/trunk of the tree in the foreground are easily recognized as imagined botanical structures (a tropical ceiling fan run amuck?). The distance to the island visible in the background seems almost swimmable, but receding.
