With this work I was more playful with the linear quality of the abstracted shapes. The canyon walls descending as the graduated blues of the hourglass river carves its way to the sea horizon. The banded sunset sky is hottest at the contrasting deepest blue sea of the horizon line, drawing the viewer forward into the space. The color palette is calming.
